Marisa Morning Star Davey

Marisa Morning Star Davey, age 47, passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2024, at Logan Health Medical Center in Kalispell, MT surrounded by loved ones She was born January 13, 1977 in Sheridan, WY to Harry Channell and Jennifer Vigil.
Marisa attended Holy Name Catholic School in Sheridan, Wyoming, she would spend time with her siblings in Kalispell, Montana. Marisa permanently moved to Kalispell, MT in 1996. Earning her associate’s degree in business from FVCC and started her own business, Morning Star Boat Services. She enjoyed rock climbing, skiing, traveling, and spelunking in the Bighorn mountains of Wyoming, aerial hoop, pole fitness. She was an avid sailor. Flathead Lake was considered her lake and her home away from home. She was a great mother, grandma, sister and friend and an incredible person who put the “F” in fun. She was a bright light that touched the hearts of so many lives.
She is survived by her partner Alan Gillman, her children Brenden Davey of Kalispell Mt Lauren Davey of Martin City MT Brianna (Sammy) Miller of Sheridan WY, Mother Jennifer Vigil of Olney, MT, Brothers Joshua Rosalez, and Jesse Racheff and sister Christina Donaldson, grandchildren Ashton Miller, Josephine Miller of Sheridan, WY. Nieces Izabella Roberts, Suzanna Rosalez, Scarlett Rosalez, Allaina Racheff and Vivian Racheff, Nephews Morgan Roberts, Teavin Rosalez, Oberon Donaldson.
She preceded in death by grandparents Josephine and Abel “Poncho” Vigil of Sheridan WY, Father Harry Channell of Sheridan WY Stepfather Loren A. Brown of Kalispell, MT.
A celebration of life will take place June 29, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Somers Beach State Park in Somers MT. Memorials are suggested to the Abbie Shelter www.abbieshelter.org/donate or PO Box 1401 Kalispell, MT 59903.

I knew Marisa well. Free spirt, happy, and brite! Gone to soon, sad…… I remember her as a young Woman before she moved away, she will be missed.
