JCSD1 Graduation Rate Above State Average

The graduation rate at the two high schools in Johnson County School District One is higher than the state average, according to data released this week by the Wyoming Department of Education (WDE).

The WDE announced that statewide high school graduation rates increased to 82.1% in 2018-19, marking the sixth consecutive year of improvement from the class of 2013, where 77.6% of students graduated.

Sixteen school districts in the state posted graduation rates of 90 percent or higher, including JCSD#1 students who had a graduation rate of 91% and Sheridan County District #1 at 96.72%.

Buffalo High School posted a graduation rate of 91.01%, and Kaycee hate a rate of 88.2%.
