JCSD1 Board to Discuss, Plan for 2022

The Johnson County School Board will begin work for 2022 during their upcoming December work session and regular meeting.

The board’s work session, scheduled for Wednesday, December 8 at 5pm, will have the board discussing air handler needs and Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief or ESSER III Funds.

According to ncsl.org the American Rescue Plan Act, passed on March 11, 2021, provided $122.7 billion in supplemental ESSER funding, known as the ESSER III fund.

Scheduled for their regular meeting December 13, the board will be electing board officers; setting their board meeting schedule for 2022; appointing trustees to board committees; discussing their audit for the fiscal year; and discussing COVID leave.

The regular meeting will begin at 6pm in the Administration Office.
