Classical fuses with rock when Project Trio takes stage

Project Trio is made up of cellist Eric Stephenson, double bassist Peter Seymour and flutist Greg Pattillo, who came together to create a new sound by reaching to their roots of classically trained musicians and combining them with elements of rock and roll, hip-hop and the gritty sounds of street performers.
Project Trio has been hailed by The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times and Gramophone Magazine for their original sound, sense of humor and first-class performances.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, calling from Brooklyn, NY, Pattillo told listeners how his contribution of sound to Project TRIO developed from his roots as a classically trained concert flutist to what he plays today with the trio.
The Project Trio will perfroma qatthe Whitney Center for the Arts on Friday, Oct. 8, beginning at 7 p.m. Tickets for adults are $35; Senior/Veterans are $25; Student (K-12, non-SC) are $10. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here, or by calling the WCA Box Office at 307-675-0360.
