St. Francis Participating in ‘Empty the Shelters’ Event
St. Francis Animal Shelter in Buffalo will be participating in a nationwide pet adoption event next week.
The Bissell Pet Foundation is hosting its fall 2021 national “Empty the Shelters” adoption event October 4th through the 10th.
According to a release form the foundation, the quarterly event helps pets find their forever homes through reduced adoption fees at shelters across the country.
The adoption event has helped nearly 62,000 pets find their forever homes.
During each nationwide event, Bissell Pet Foundation helps sponsor reduced adoption fees for $25 or less.
This fall’s event will be hosted in more than 180 shelters in 38 states.
St. Francis Animal Shelter will be participating all next week except for Tuesday and Sunday when they are closed.
