JCSD1 Gets Clean Audit Report

The Johnson County School Board, at their meeting this week, got the audit report for the district.

Kevin Cornia, CPA with Carver, Florek, and James Certified Public Accountants of Sheridan, gave the board the report, saying the audit was clean.

Going through the audit report with the board, Cornia reviewed all of the separate reports within, finding no issues with the district’s procedures.

One issue from the previous year’s audit was cleaned up during this past year.

The board voted to accept the audit report as presented.

Also approved by the board were budget amendments for the 2020 fiscal year.
