Johnson County Lifts Hiring Freeze for Treasurer

Johnson County’s Commissioners discussed lifting the county-wide hiring freeze to allow Treasurer Carla Bishop to replace one employee that will be leaving her office.

Commissioner Linda Greenough said the treasurer’s office does need to replace the employee, and explained why.

The commission then voted to lift the hiring freeze to allow Bishop to replace the employee.
