Johnson County One-Percent Collections Up for First Quarter

Johnson County’s One-Percent funds collections are up for the first quarter of the 2025-26 fiscal year, according to Commission Chairman Bill Novotny, citing information on the latest budget report.

County Treasurer Carla Bishop said when the county collects funds their payment must be sent to the state by the 20^th of the month, but smaller entities are only required to report quarterly, which means the amount of funds reported may not be completely up-to-date.
