Buffalo Council Approves Purchase of New Fire Truck
Buffalo’s City Council has approved the purchase of a new fire truck for the Buffalo Volunteer Fire Department.
Fire Chief Gomer Gammon made the request of the council at their meeting this week.
Mayor Shane Schrader read the three bids the city received for the fire truck.
Gammon said he didn’t see a lot of differences in the specifications on the three trucks, and recommended the city accept the low bid of $492,320 from E-1 Rescue, which the council did approve.
