Johnson County Amends Budget for Airport Grant Funding

Johnson County’s Commissioners amended the 2020-21 budget to accept funding from the state for work at the county airport.

Resolution #653 will accept the $60,254 in funding from WYDOT Aeronautics to fund seal coating on the ramp area at the airport.

According to Commissioner Bob Perry, liaison to the Airport Board, there is cracking in the surface of the ramp area and the state funds will help pay to repair the cracks.

The commission approved the budget amendment.
