The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce celebrated the dedication of the new Bob Giurgevich Victory Garden at the Sheridan VA Health Care System with an Ambassadors’ ribbon cutting Wednesday, June 18, 2025. The garden – a partnership between the Sheridan VA Health Care System, Rooted in Wyoming and other community partners – features over 500 feet of ADA-accessible pathways, freshly installed wood chip walkways, a complete irrigation system and more than 30 raised beds filled with locally sourced soil for veterans to enjoy. The garden was named in honor of Giurgevich for his many years of gardening at the site. For more information about the garden, visit https://www.rootedinwyoming.org/bg-victory-garden.
