JCSD1 Board Accepts Two Resignations from Board Members

The Johnson County School Board held their regular meeting for April at the Kaycee K-12 School Monday night.

During the board’s Action Items portion of their agenda, trustee Dave Belus read the resignation letter from McKenzi Wright.

Board President Travis Pearson then read the resignation letter from trustee Daniel Escoz.

The board voted to accept both resignations.

The district will now begin the process of replacing the two trustees.

The application deadline is May 5, 2025 and can be submitted through the district website.

The board will review letters of interest at the May 7 Work Session and will recommend appointments at the May 12 regular Board Meeting.
