Buffalo Council Passes Building Code Ordinance on First Reading

Buffalo’s City Council has voted to approve on first reading an Ordinance that will update the city building codes.

Mayor Shane Schrader explained further.

According to discussion at the meeting, there are not a lot of changes to from the building codes from 2018 to 2024, which the city is adopting, but the changes made are significant.

Councilman Scott Madsen gave more details.

The Ordinance will need to be passed on two more readings before it is adopted.
