NSI Academy improves security

Normative Services Inc. has improved security measures to aid in preventing possible runaways from the live-in youth facility.
In addition to hiring more staff, NSI has installed alarms on windows and installed more cameras on the campus as well as secured bids to install egress doors and a 10-foot fence to prevent youths from accessing the rear of the campus.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, NSI executive director Clayton Carr told listeners that the youth facility has also begun to more closely vet potential students.
NSI has also purchased night-vision goggles and infrared readers to aid in finding any potential runaways hiding in the surrounding area.
