Small Acreage Management Topic of Chamber’s Next Lunchtime Conversations About Open Spaces Series

Small Acreage Management will be the topic of the Chamber’s Next Lunchtime Conversations About Open Spaces Series. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce’s Ag and Natural Resources Committee will again host “Lunchtime Conversations About Open Spaces” on Tuesdays, January 28, February 25, March 25 and April 22. Each of the sessions will take place from noon to 1 pm at Luminous Brewhouse in Sheridan.
This year’s series will focus on “Small Acreage Management.” Micah Most of the University of Wyoming Extension Office, along with additional experts and the audience, will explore what role small acreage management plays in maintaining open space and how it contributes to our vibrant community. They’ll also look at the challenges and how to be good stewards of small acreage today and in the future. Participants are encouraged to bring questions and comments for this interactive dialogue.
All sessions are free to attend and open to everyone. No registration is necessary. Participants are encouraged to bring their lunch. Beverages will be available for purchase at Luminous.

Here’s an idea: Let the owners of the land be the managers. It’s their own private property and “community groups” have no business telling land owners how to “manage” their own land. It’s a founding American principle and common law tradition, that respects Private Property Rights.
If you want your own “open space” to manage….go buy your own and stop trying to tell your neighbors how to live.
Returning to Founding Principles was largely what the 5 November election was about.
