During an appearance on Public Pulse, Sheridan Police Chief Rich Adrians reported the department has not experienced any major violations regarding COVID-19 restrictions in Sheridan.

The state’s health department approved variances permitting bars and restaurants to serve customers in outdoor settings and permitting churches to hold outdoor services.

As the city begins to implement the first phase of returning to normal operations, Adrians said taking care of each other and remembering to use common sense will help to prevent resurgent cases of the coronavirus.

Adrians said business owners are doing their best to adapt to the situation and the 21 restrictions attached to the variances that must still be followed in phase one of the reopening process.
