Explore History at TRVCC: Fort Mackenzie Historic District Tour

The Public is invited to join the Sheridan Community Land Trust Explore History for a history tour of Fort Mackenzie. 

First established as a military outpost and later transformed into The Sheridan VA Medical Center, Fort Mackenzie has served the Sheridan County community for more than 125 years. 

VA Historian Thomas Hatch will lead the group on a tour of the history and architecture of the Fort Mackenzie Historic District. 

Sheridan Community Land Trust Director of Marketing and Development Chris Vrba called into Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to say this is a rare opportunity to tour one of Sheridan history’s most important but underseen sites.
