Buffalo Council Passes Code Ordinance on Second Read

An Ordinance to amend zoning code in the City of Buffalo has been passed on second reading by the Buffalo City Council.
Mayor Shane Schrader read the Ordinance, explaining what it will do.
According to City Building Inspector Terry Asay, the changes to code would remove the default designation of R-1 from all properties annexed into the city, and allow the city to annex a property in under the proper zoning designation
The Ordinance will require passage on third reading to become code.
