Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns, Christine Dietrich and trail runners, Chris Hayden and Mandy Galloway made an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse to talk about the Wolf Creek Wrangle.
The run is a fundraiser for Habitat for Humanity of the Eastern Bighorns with 100% of the proceeds going to help the efforts of building homes for local Sheridan families. The Wolf Creek Wrangle is trail run. Trail runs present new and varying challenges of terrain while also offering scenic locations.
The Wolf Creek Wrangle is the only run given the opportunity to take place at the renowned Eaton’s Ranch, allowing runners and hikers a unique chance to challenge their skill with typical and not so typical trail running obstacles.
Hayden began trail running around 2016, since that time he has become proficient in his technique and enjoys the solitude, challenge and personal competition of the experience.

Fairly new to trail running, Galloway took on the Wolf Creek Wrangle as a way to get off the pavement and experience something different.

The Wolf Creek Wrangle includes a 5M, 7M, Half Marathon and 30K Trail options limited to 150 runners.
Dietrich has taken part in the run herself many times. But has had to take on an administrative role the last few years. She wants more than to just meet a number of runners. Dietrich wishes to share this unique experience with any trailrunners who have yet to take the challenge.

The race will be Saturday, Sept. 21. Registration prices will increase on Aug. 20. Dietrich said The Wolf Creek Wrangle is a true trail run with 95% of the race on unpaved roads.
