Jo Co Commission OKs Office Hour Changes for Public Health

Johnson County Public Health Nursing Manager Kristin Friedrich spoke to the county commission this week to ask that they approve changes to their office hours again this fall as they had approved in 2024.

She gave details on the reason for the request.

Friedrich said staff would still be in the office on Fridays, to catch up on other duties, such as coding, billing, and doing home visits.

She said last year there was overwhelming positive feed back from staff, the public, and the state.

The commission voted to approve the changes, effective September 5 through November 28.
