JCSD1 Board to Discuss Officers, Committees, Superintendent Contract

The December meeting for the Johnson County School Board will include a number of approvals concerning board members, discussion on a new Human Resources position, and discussion of the contract for the superintendent’s position, as explained by Superintendent Charles Auzqui.

The board will also review the HR position, which Auzqui recommended the board hire, explaining that he felt it was important due to the number of official complaints, investigations, and teacher contracts the district has dealt with this year.

Auzqui also suggested making the HR position and the Strategic Plan renewal process action items to be discussed and dealt with at the December board meeting.

The board is also scheduled to apply for and approve members for the officer positions at next month’s meeting.
