Building Inspector Gives End-of-Year Numbers for Buffalo

Buffalo Building Inspector Terry Asay gave the city council the end-of-the-fiscal year numbers for his department during their last regular meeting.

Asay said the building department ended the year with 173 permits during the fiscal year, totaling just under $54,000 in revenue.

Fourteen of those permits were for new homes, which he said was down from the previous few years.

He also reported that the city and county have had meetings on the Hazard Mitigation Plan, to prepare for the update of the plan.
