Biteman Talks Senate File 1, The Senate Version of the Budget

The Wyoming Senate has completed their amendment period on Senate File 1, the legislation that will eventually become the state’s budget for the next two fiscal years. Both local Senators Bo Biteman and Dave Kinskey voted in favor of the file’s passage onto the House. Senator Biteman shared his feelings on how well they did.

Senate File 1 had 82 amendments proposed on second and third readings with 48 of them garnering enough support to be adopted. The body passed the measure on third reading with a vote of 22 yays, 6 nays, and 2 excused.
