School Board Praises Retirees, Approves Employment

At their regular meeting this week, the Johnson County School Board, in their Consent Agenda, approved the employment recommendations for the district, and praised two employees that will retire at the end of the school year, as well as one who will resign.
Board Chair Jan Johnson spoke highly of Walter Farwell, Madonna Esponda, and Maggi Lambert.
Also approved were the recommendations for Karen Zezas as a special education para at the Kaycee K-12 School replacing Lyn Brock; Zachary Wilson as a full-time custodian at Buffalo High School, replacing Robert Grubb; and Amber Trew as a full-time custodian at Cloud Peak Elementary replacing Randy Norman.
