Senator Barrasso Discusses Importance of Highway Infrastructure Bill

U.S. Senator John Barrasso continues to push for legislation aimed at strengthening highway infrastructure in the country and in Wyoming. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
America’s Transportation Infrastructure Act is the largest highway bill in history and it contains several key provisions for Wyoming. U.S. Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming, Chairman of the Committee on Environment and Public Works, sponsored the legislation and says that the bill will make significant investments to maintain and repair Wyoming’s roads and bridges, grow the economy, protect wildlife, and make roads safer.
Senator Barrasso said the highway infrastructure bill will make a historic investment in Wyoming’s roads and bridges.
President Trump, during his recent State of the Union Address, called on Congress to pass Senator Barrasso’s highway bill, saying that the legislation is an investment in new roads, bridges and tunnels throughout the country.
