Saturday Fundraiser Benefits Womens Education Financial Aid

Coming up this Saturday in Sheridan is a fundraising event that will raise money for scholarships, loans, and grants for women pursuing education beyond high school.
While a guest on our talk show Public Pulse, Jeanette Moody, vice president of the local B.I. Chapter of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, explained what it is and what they do.
The P.E.O. Sisterhood will be having their fundraiser, which will feature performances by local musicians, at the First Presbyterian Church in Sheridan this Saturday at 4 p.m.
There is a suggested donation of $15 per person for the performance, and there will be refreshmants available.
Funds raised will go to the organization’s financial aid program.
