JCHC Awarded Grant, Waiting on Notification of Others

The Johnson County Healthcare Center has applied for a number of grants to help fund their current capital construction project, and CEO Luke Senden said they probably won’t hear if they have been successful until November.
He said there have been “tons of applicants” on those grants.
There was some good news about one of the grants, which he discussed.
Senden said the grant funding will be used to purchase new equipment for the facility associated with the remodel project.
It will put new exam tables, beds, furniture and other equipment in the remodeled portions of the building.
It is a matching grant and will require the JCHC to cover 65% of the costs.
