Sheridan Commission Denies Carbon Hill County Road Vacation

The Sheridan County Commission voted to deny a petition to vacate a portion of a public right-of-way known as Carbon Hill County Road.

A number of county residents spoke against the vacation during the public hearing in the matter.

Commission Chairman Lonnie Wright explained why he was voting against the vacation.

Commissioners Tom Ringley, Terry Cram, and Nick Siddle also spoke against the vacation, before the vote to deny the petition.
