Pat BlairTongue River firefighters responded to a vehicle fire on Interstate 90 early Saturday morning. According to information from the fire department, the incident occurred at around Mile Post 4 at 6 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle, and the single occupant, was traveling east on I-90 when the vehicle struck a deer.
The occupant wasn’t injured and was able to remove their belongings before the vehicle was engulfed by flames.
Wyoming Highway Patrol, Rocky Mountain Ambulance, Dayton Fire and Sheridan Fire-Rescue assisted in the effort to extinguish the flames.
