Over 1700 eggs were filled with candy and hid for the over 50 youngsters who attended the event.
Due to the chilly weather and snow on the playground, the eggs were hid in the Arvada-Clearmont School building, the 0-4 age youngsters hunted eggs in the Clearmont gym, with the 5-7 and the 8-11 ages finding them in other rooms, and ages 12-13 hunters found eggs in hidden in the recreation district building.
Amy Rowe, of the Rec. District, said eggs were hidden in the bleachers, under the exercise machines, and in many other places inside the building.
The Clearmont Community Church donated the door prizes for the youngsters.
There were cinnamon rolls, coffee, and juice in the school lunch room after the event for all those attending.
