COWBOY FOOTBALL – The Wyoming Cowboys are off until next Thursday when they host a game with Utah state after Saturday’s game with the AFA was canceled because of a COVID outbreak at the Academy,

Cowboy Head coach Craig Bohl during his weekly news conference Monday says at least the timing of the cancellation helped them out.

The Cowboys are 1-2 and not having a chance to pick up a victory this week hurts their chances of a possible shot at playing for the MWC championship.

And with another week off it’s up to the players to stay healthy so they can play next week.

We will broadcast a Cowboy Classic football game Saturday night at 6:00 on KWYO and 106/9 FM it’s one the team’s best wins from 2016 when they beat Boise state in what’s become known as the “Saftey Game”.

JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks are at home this week hosting Bozeman Friday and Saturday night they drop the puck both nights at 7:30.

2020-21 WINTER SPORTS – The high school winter sports season is set to begin on the 23rd with basketball and wrestling practices starting the Bronc swimmers and divers will start on the 30th the regular season is set to start December 10th.
