Sheridan Boys Repeat As 4A Indoor Track and Field State Champs; Girls Place 4th

The Sheridan boys won 6 events and placed 2nd in 3 others to repeat as 4A State Champs and win their 6th State title in 7 years.

The Sheridan girls won 2 events and placed 4th in the standings.

Chance Morris finished 1st in the boys 55 meter dash with a time of 6.47 seconds, winning by 0.14 seconds and first in the boys 200 meter dash with a time of 21.85 seconds, winning by 0.33 seconds.

Ryder Charest finished 1st in the boys 800 meter run with a time of 1 minute 58.17 seconds, winning by 0.71 seconds.

Garrett Otto placed 1st in the boys 55 meter hurdles with a time of 7.87 seconds winning by 0.05 seconds.

The Sheridan boys 4 by 200 meter relay team placed 2nd.

The Sheridan boys 4 by 400 meter relay team finished 1st with a time of 3 minutes 24.82 seconds, winning by 2.11 seconds.

The Sheridan boys 4 by 800 meter relay team finished 1st with a time of 8 minutes 9.48 seconds, winning by 1.17 seconds.

The Sheridan boys sprint medley relay team placed 3rd.

Shaw Walker placed 2nd in the boys pole vault.

Brandon Vela placed 2nd in the boys shot put.

Olivia Hardesty finished 3rd in the girls 55 meter dash.

The Sheridan girls 4 by 200 meter relay team finished 1st with a time of 1 minute 46.34 seconds, winning by 0.2 seconds.

The Sheridan girls sprint medley relay team placed 3rd.

Lilly Charest finished 1st in the girls pole vault with a vault of 12 feet 0 inches, winning by 6 inches.
