Leroy W. Fuller, age 83, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2024, in Sheridan, Wyoming of natural causes. He was born October 28, 1940, in Gillette, Wyoming to Eugene and Ruth (Wallace) Fuller. He was a 1958 graduate of Moorcroft High School. After graduation, he went into the construction business with his father. On October 19, 1959, he married Noralie Schlattman, and together they made their home in Moorcroft, Wyoming and had 4 children: Barry, Rhonda, Lonnie, and Rod. LeRoy later took over the construction company when his father retired and ran Fuller Construction for many years.
He lived his life full throttle; he was always on the move and was often moving fast. His hobbies included stock car and chariot racing and riding motorcycles and 4-wheelers. He was also a pilot and owned several different planes. He had a great love for the outdoors, and nothing gave him more joy than hunting and fishing in the Big Horn mountains or taking trips with his friends to explore other areas, such as Alaska. He was a great storyteller, and some of his best tales were the result of his adventurous spirit and general disregard for following unnecessary rules.
Leroy is survived by an abundance of family. His children: Barry (Debra) Fuller, Rhonda (Neil) Worden, Lonnie (Louise) Fuller, and Rod (Eileen) Fuller. Sisters: Sherrill (Donnie) Williams, Barbara Schneider, and Sandra (Gorden) Bonderson. Brother: Ronnie (Shirley) Fuller. Grandchildren: Kari (Jared) Strube, Galen (Casey) Worden, Dillon Fuller, Erin (Matt) Pezoldt, Derek Fuller, Darin Fuller, Daylie Fuller, and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Eugene and Ruth Fuller, his wife of 54 years: Noralie Fuller, his granddaughter: Hannah Fuller, and a brother-in-law: Ronald Schneider.
LeRoy was a warm and gregarious man and will surely be missed by all that knew him. A graveside celebration of life for close family and friends is planned for some time next spring in Moorcroft.
