City of Buffalo to Apply for Funds for Pool, Playground Equipment

The City of Buffalo will be applying for grant funding through the County Recreation Board for chemicals for the outdoor pool, and for playground equipment in Washington Park.

City Works Director Kevin Silbernagel went before the council at their last meeting for approval to submit the funding request.

Silbernagel said the playground equipment the city wants to replace is in the park near the pool entrance.

The council approved the city to apply for the grant funding through the Rec Board.
