Junior Hawks win Playoff Opener in Great Falls / Bronc and Lady Bronc Track and Field Dominate at Thunder Basin

JUNIOR HAWKS HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks opened the 2nd round of the playoffs winning 4-1 in Great Falls last night they can close out the series tonight game time is 7:30 at the M&M Center.

The hawks have a Fraser cup spot already locked up as six teams will meet in St. Louis to find a national champion, by virtue of having the best regular season record the Hawks get an automatic bid into the Fraser cup final six but Head coach Andy Schieb says having that can be a bad thing for a team trying to stay sharp as the move through the playoffs.

BRONC / LADY BRONC SOCCER – The Sheridan high school soccer teams take on Cheyenne Central and Cheyenne East the Lady Broncs play in Cheyenne the Broncs will host both games game times this evening are JV’s 4:00 and varsity at 6:00 tomorrow’s games are at 10:00 and noon.

TRACK / FIELD – The Bronc and Lady Bronc track teams crushed it at a meet at Thunder Basin high school Thursday the Lady Broncs scored 290 points Thunder Basin had 176 the Broncs scored 320 points Thunder had 159. Both teams have the weekend off from competition.

TENNIS – The Sheridan high school tennis teams host a dual with Powell tomorrow.

GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers open their spring season net week in Buffalo.
