Aaron PalmerThe Sheridan County YMCA will be offering a new scholarship for seniors attending any Sheridan County High high school.
Liz Cassiday, Executive Director of the YMCA, was a recent guest on Public Pulse, and she explained the requirements for the New Faith Scholarship and how it came about.
Cassiday said the hope is for the scholarship to help build a habit and give them another coping skill when life gets hard.
There will be up to 130 scholarships available per year for any Sheridan County high school senior.
The “Y” will be putting out more information on the scholarships on social media and other avenues in the next couple of weeks.
