The City of Sheridan will begin picking up biodegradable bags of leaves Oct. 16.
During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan City Councilmembers Shawn Day and Terry Weitzel, alerted the public of the Fall leaf collection.
Weitzel said the days of leaf pick-up and garbage pick up may not be the same. Residents should check the City website to know which zone they live in and what days that zone will be picked up.

The City asks that only compostable biodegradable bags be used and that those bags only contain leaves, not branches or other green waste. The City also requests these bags of leaves be left on the curb, not on sidewalks, allies or in the streets.
