Ron RichterThe City of Sheridan Public Works Department has scheduled an upcoming public meeting regarding the West Corridor. Sheridan Media’s Ron Richter has the details.
The City of Sheridan is looking to evaluate the proposed West Corridor identified in the Sheridan West Side Corridor report from 2008 for constructability and feasibility. A number of things need to be studied for the City to further evaluate the project, including preliminary engineering and surveying, environmental and geotechnical assessments, public involvement, right-of-way acquisitions and needs, project feasibility and constructability.
The City has been acquiring the required right-of-way for the West Corridor over the past two decades as development has occurred within or along the land proposed for the roadway identified in previous planning documents. City Administrator Stu McRae says there will be an upcoming West Corridor public meeting at the Hub on Smith.
Once again, the West Corridor public meeting will be Thursday, December 5 at 5:30 pm at the Hub on Smith in Sheridan.

I don’t agree with the west corridor. Because who is it going to effect? It will affect me I am a land owner along 17th street . I live at 2809west 17th street. I don’t want the traffic coming to close to my house, this is non negotiable. to add I bought the property for the peace and quietness. Now you want to take that away. What about the right of the land owners? Plus what about the monument that is on my property?
