The Festival of Trees event took place at the Sheridan County Fairgrounds on November 20th and serves as a fundraiser for Special Olympic Athletes for Sheridan and Johnson Counties.
Among the items up for bid included 17 decorated Christmas trees that were put together and donated from various organizations.
According to Special Olympics Wyoming, about $14,000 was raised from the tree auctions and an additional $4,500 from other auction items.
The tree from First Northern Bank sold for the most at $2,600.
