Two large events benefit two cities

Buffalo Mayor Shane Scrader told listeners of Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse that Sheridan’s WYO Rodeo and Longmire Days benefit both cities. 

The Buffalo Mayor said businesses in Buffalo benefit every year from the Sheridan WYO Rodeo and this year was no exception. 

Sheridan also benefits from one of Buffalo’s most popular events, Longmire Days. 

Longmire Days is an event revolving around the international best selling series of novels that follow fictional sheriff Walt Longmire, created by Caig Johnson. 

This year, Longmire Days will begin on Thursday, July 20, when thousands of people from all over the world will join members of the cast from the television series Longmire, adapted from Johnson’s novels. 

Schrader said city employees and department heads have been preparing for the event.
