WHY ?? would anyone not get vaccinated ?? Don’t like living or maybe some social media, U-tube or twitter post that gave them the Real facts, that the medical community doesn’t know.. After All, We all know if it is on the internet, it has to be true….
I have to echo Ms. Oleson’s observations. I can understand that there may be a few who would opt to avoid COVID vaccinations due to some underlying medical issues. I also know that there are likely always going to be some contrarians who simply resist whatever comes down the pike. But it is rather astounding that the poll results are almost evenly divided (recognizing of course that surveys such as this online poll are in no way statistically accurate). Apart from the non-pharmaceutical measures (social distancing, face coverings, conscientious hygiene) to combat the pandemic, which many still choose to eschew, this pharmaceutical “magic bullet,” while certainly not perfect, promises an end to what has been a disastrous problem for our country and the world. Have we become so jaded that we mistrust everything and everyone, that we refuse to fulfill our social responsibility to our loved ones, our neighbors, our fellow citizens. People need to cowboy-up and do their duty in helping to bring this pandemic to a conclusion.
