Sheridan Memorial CEO writes letter to residents of Sheridan County

In an open letter to the residents of Sheridan County, Sheridan Memorial Hospital Chief executive Officer Mike McCafferty thanked the public for their continued support of the hospital and its staff. 

McCafferty also thanked the many businesses that have provided personal protective equipment and monetary donations used to purchase equipment. 

Sheridan Memorial’s CEO acknowledged the COVID-19 fatigue felt by everyone in the community but stated that he feels optimistic the community as a whole will learn to balance the variables in ways that will make the community and its residents stronger. 

In the letter, McCafferty said that COVID-19 has “added a layer of complexity to the already dynamic charge of providing health services to the region.” But that he is confident in the medical professionals and staff who work diligently to ensure these needs are met.
