Sheridan PD looking for peace officer candidates

The Sheridan Police Department has a position available for a peace officer. 

Potential candidates must be at least 21 years of age, a U.S. citizen, hold a high school diploma or GED, have no felony convictions and a valid driver’s license.

During an appearance on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Sheridan Police Lieutenant Tom Ringly told listeners the department is searching for candidates of high moral character. 

Candidates will be provided information about the stages of selection and the expected duration of the process.

Testing will take place on June 19. Testing will be conducted on the third Thursday and Friday of the month beginning in July.
