The 3rd Annual Ucross Arts Festival

On Sunday, Aug. 20, at 2 p.m. The Ucross Foundation held its 3rd annual Ucross Arts Festival. The festivities began with the opening of the new photography exhibit at the Ucross Art Gallery, The Shape of Time. This exhibit highlights how and why an artist’s vision evolves over time and is available to the public until Jan. 26, 2024. For more information on The Shape of Time, click here. William Belcher, President of the Ucross Foundation, explained more about the opening ceremony.
At 4 p.m. Belcher introduced the two bands that played in the evening, The Sea The Sea and The Two Tracks. Belcher gave the audience some background on The Sea The Sea and the significance of being a Ucross alum.

The Two Tracks played their music for the second half of the evening and even played a couple of songs from their new album that is coming out on Aug. 25, called, It’s a Complicated Life.

Catering was also made available to the public by some of the vendors, Catering by Binos and Kona Ice.

Belcher also mentioned that the 40th anniversary of the Ucross Foundation is coming up and gave the audience a little background on the history of the foundation itself and its purpose.
