The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter is participating in the Cowboy State’s largest day of giving through WyoGives.
The majority of operational costs at the shelter are through generous donations. The Sheridan Dog and Cat Shelter asked the public to consider them on July 12.
WyoGives is an initiative of the Wyoming Nonprofit Network. The statewide 24-hour online fundraising event is designed to bring the state together as one community to raise money and awareness for Wyoming’s nonprofits.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse, Executive Director of the Dog and Cat Shelter, AJ Evans said the donations made during the 24-hour period will be matched dollar for dollar.
During the 24 hours on July 12, online donations to the Dog and Cat Shelter will be matched $1 for $1, up to $1,000 per donor until the $1 million Hughes Charitable Foundation WyoGives match pool is expended. There is up to $10,000 available for this match.
