High School Regional Hoops Begin Today / Cowgirls Host Fresno Tonight / Bronc Wrestlers Open State Tournament Tomorrow

BRONC / LADY BRONC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan high school basketball teams will close out the regular season at Natrona county tomorrow games times are 6:00 and 7:30 and we will broadcast both live on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
A victory tomorrow for the Broncs can get them a number one seed for next week’s regional tournament, here’s Head coach Jeff Martini.
The 4-AEast regional tournament tips off next week at Thunder Basin high school in Gillette.
1-A / 2-A REGIONAL BASKETBALL – Regional basketball tournaments start today the Arvada / Clearmont Lady Panthers will open the 1-AEast regional in Douglas against Lingle / Fort Laramie.
The Tongue River teams will play at the West regional in Riverton the Lady Eagles open with Wyoming Indian the Eagles will take on Wind River.
The Big Horn teams head to Torrington for the East regional the Lady Rams play Southeast while the Rams square off with Lusk.
SC BASKETBALL – The Sheridan college Generals and Lady Generals head into region nine tournament action the women’s tournament starts Saturday with the Lady Generals hosting Laramie county the game will tip Saturday at 2:00 in the Hoffman dome.
The Generals will open the tournament in the first round on the road at Central Wyoming in Riverton Saturday that game will be played at 4:00.
UW BASKETBALL – The Wyoming Cowgirls have won four straight they host Fresno state tonight you can hear it live on KWYO and 106.9 fm starting at 6:00.
The Cowboys play a road game at Fresno state Saturday night at 5:00 you can hear the game on KWYO and 106.9 FM.
WRESTLING – The Bronc wrestlers head to Casper tomorrow for the start of the state wrestling tournament matches get underway in the morning at the Casper Events Center.
TRACK AND FIELD – The Bronc and Lady Bronc indoor track teams will host the regular season finale in Gillette today.
The indoor state championships will be held in Gillette the two day meet starts next Friday the Broncs will go into the state championships as the defending state champs which a year ago sent them into the outdoor season with great momentum only to see them lose the outdoor state title.
Head coach Taylor Kelting says that loss has fueled the team all season as they look to repeat as champs next week.
JUNIOR HOCKEY – The Sheridan Junior Hawks close out the regular season at Bozeman, Montana tomorrow and Saturday the Hawks still have a shot to win the Frontier division regular season title and the number one playoff seed but they must win both games.
