Important dates to remember for Enroll Wyoming

Open Enrollment has begun and millions of people have turned to the Health Insurance Marketplace to find new coverage or re-enroll in current plans. 

Between Nov. 1, and Dec. 3, nearly 5.5 million picked health insurance plans. In Wyoming, a state that uses the federal marketplace, more than 14,000 plans were selected.

With approximately a month left in this Open Enrollment period, there are some important deadlines to remember.

— Thursday, Dec. 15, 2022, is the last day to enroll in or change plans for coverage to start Jan. 1, 2023.

— Sunday, Jan. 1, 2023, coverage starts for those who enroll in or change plans by Dec. 15, 2022, and pay their first premium.

— Sunday, Jan. 15, 2023, the last day to enroll in or change a 2023 health plan. After this date, you can enroll in or change plans only if you qualify for a special enrollment period.

— Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2023, coverage starts for those who enroll in or change plans Dec. 16, 2022, through Jan. 15, 2023, and pay their first premium.
