The Sheridan WYO Rodeo is a large celebration of the sport of rodeo, western heritage, and Sheridan tradition.
While appearing on Sheridan Media’s Public Pulse program, Sheridan Mayor Rich Bridger told listeners the WYO Rodeo provides a major boost to the local economy and he appreciates all the work, hours and resources of the WYO Rodeo Board and staff that ensure the high-quality of the western celebration.
Bridger also told listeners that the work of the many departments in the city has been exemplary. The City Utilities Department steps up to the plate every year with the massive increase of waste that is produced and the other departments have already ensured that residents and visitors alike can jump up or sit back and enjoy the week’s events.
The Sheridan Police Department is offering free rides home on Friday and Saturday nights through the use of two major stops individuals can utilize if they have had a drink. During an earlier appearance on Pulse, SPD Captain Tom Ringley told listeners where those stops will be located.
