Wind gusts as high as 92 miles per hour in some areas, caused tree branches to snap and/or caused trees to become uprooted in Sheridan and Johnson Counties.

The National Weather Service in both Billings, Montana and in Riverton, Wyoming received reports of various high wind speeds between midnight and 6am on Tuesday, November 16th.

One weather station near Story recorded 92 mile an hour winds, while the Buffalo airport recorded 82 mph.

Banner had a high speed of 76, Dayton checked in at 72, Big Horn had 64 and Sheridan got as high as 52.

Various places suffered tree damage as a result, as tree trunks and/or branches knocked down power lines, damaged homes and vehicles and blocked roadways for a time.

Below are various photos from Story.
