BRONCS – The Bronc football team blasted Cheyenne South 63-8 to run their record to 2-0 Head coach Jeff Mowry says they started fast and everyone got a chance to get on the field.
The first two weeks the Broncs have outscored opponents 105-18 but that changes this week when 2-0 Cheyenne Central comes to Sheridan.
Central has a very good team this year and will be laying for the Broncs after the Broncs ended their season last year in the playoffs.
RAMS – The Big Horn Rams lost their season opener at home 26-0 to Lovell. the Rams host Wheatland Friday night.
EAGLES – The Tongue River Eagles dropped their road game at Thermopolis 22-7. The Eagles play at Burns Friday.
UW CLASSIC FOOTBALL – We will be broadcasting University of Wyoming classic football games Saturday afternoons this fall this week it will be the Pokes vs Tennessee from September 12th of 2008 the Cowboys beat the Vols 13-7 the game will air at 1:00 on 14-10 KWYO and 106.9 FM.
CROSS COUNTRY – The Sheridan high school cross country teams swept victories at the Buffalo invitational the Broncs had another perfect score led by Austin Akers, the Lady Broncs won as well Abby Newton was 2nd Katie Turpin was 3rd and Ella Kessner was 4th.
TENNIS – The Bronc and Lady Bronc tennis teams had Cheyenne East, Central and Cheyenne South the boys swept all three the Lady Broncs beat East and South and lost to Central.
VOLLEYBALL – The Lady Bronc volleyball team dropped matches with Cheyenne East and Central.
GOLF – The Bronc and Lady Bronc golfers played at the Buffalo invitational the Broncs were first the Lady Broncs second.
SWIMMING / DIVING – The Lady Bronc swimmers and divers dropped a dual at Buffalo
